Sheen Joins Swan
It looks as though Sheen may finally be getting his life back on track after being fired from his show Two and a Half Men and is making his way back to Hollywood.
The film centres on a successful graphic designer, who according to the synopsis of the film has fame, money and charm, whose life turns upside down when his girlfriend leaves him.
Jason Schwartman will also be staring in the film alongside Sheen in an unconfirmed role.
Hopefully this film will finally help Sheen get his life back on track after his previous tumultuous year that was well documented by every celebrity gossip magazine around the world.
There is also word that Sheen will be making a TV comeback in a show called Anger Management.
So it looks as though we will be seeing a lot more Charlie in the coming year, and hopefully he’s back on top form.
Julianne Moore Going To School
The new indie comedy follows the story of high school teacher Linda Sinclair, played by Moore, whose life changes when a star student returns. The pupil returns back to his hometown after failing at making it as a playwright in New York, and soon makes things awkward for Sinclair.
The remainder of the story remains pretty unclear, such as how he makes things difficult for Sinclair or whether he has returned as a teacher at her school.
Newcomer Craig Zisk, who has had previous experience on television including shows like, Nip/Tuck and Weeds, will direct the film.
Greg Kinnear’s role has yet to be confirmed and so has the filming schedule for the director’s debut film.
Luckily he has the incredible talents of Miss Moore on his hands, so as long as the story is ok it should be a pretty good watch.
Keaton Lands a Penthouse North
Michael Keaton has landed a role in Penthouse North.
He will be staring alongside Michelle Monaghan in the new film that will be directed by Joseph Ruben.
The film will see Monaghan play a photojournalist who, after experiencing a tragedy has become a recluse from the world and refuses to leave her apartment. Things seem to be going well for her now that she has left the troubles of the outside world, that is until a sadistic criminal, Keaton, breaks in to search for a fortune he believes his hidden there.
With Ruben being a dab hand at the art of the thriller movie after directing the likes of Sleeping With The Enemy and The Good Son, and with two great actors in the lead roles, especially Keaton, this sounds like it has all the working for a brilliant piece.
Shooting for the film is expected to kick off in November.
